Question: hi all,
Can you tell me how to transport a PRD user to a testing system for certain authorization checking?
thanks
Answer:
Check with Security forum. I don't think it's possible.
Answer:
You may export all of the user master records using SAP_USER Profile in Client Copy.
As far as the individual user is concerned, there is no damn big deal in creating a new one manually.
If you want to copy user for authorization check, maybe we should presume that you have the same roles, profiles and security configurations in the QAS system as in the PRD.

Answer:
You cannot effectively transport the user there are too many tables and you should not use the client copy with security Profile either. There is a number range used in the user master record that will mess up your F4 in SU01 and stop most of your workflow if you use the client copy (or transport) into a client that already exists and has ONE id created using SU01.
Just create the user in SU01.
