HR Authorization...

Question: Hi,

I want to link the user to the position.
I am going to PA30 and enter a personnel number and infotype 0105 (Communication type) with subtype 0001. When choose enter, I get a message that Personnel number not yet assigned. how can I resove this issue.

Do I have to create something else before I do this.
Plese advice.
Your help will be greately appreciated.

It may sound silly but have you checked that the personnel number has been created?
In the past, I have got this message when people gave me incorrect personnel numbers.

How can I check if the personnel number is created or not. How can I create if I need to.

Answer:
In PA30 you can just enter the personnel number and hit enter. It shoudl come up with a record. If not, the PN does not exist. In this case you will need to speak to your HR team who should be managing this.
