Composite role and menu change in single roles

Question: I have some composite role in which menu is defined. Now, we have done some changes in the underlying single roles to add some more transactions.

These menu changes are not visible to users as the menu at composite role is the same.

Is this normal? What can be the ways to automatically align the menus in composite roles from the single ones. By doing "read menu" in cmposite role, the menu is arranged a very different format, which will call for manual action still.

Any suggestions.

Answer:
You cannot avoid having to update the menu structure of the composite role, but if you chose the merge option when updating the composite role, the present menu will not get affected and you can just insert the new transactions.
