Users profile

Question: Hi,

I wonder like if there is a way in sap to control the user settings, meaning when user logs in using his/her name they should get the profile assigned to them just like windows profiles where we can defin the settings and permissions for them.

Same way as PFCG but instead of roles should be for users

Please post replies.

I have a hard time understanding your question.

Access is assigned to user with roles, or profiles in SU01. Parameter settings are set in the parameter tab in SU01, Favorites can be loaded to users, but there is no "one place" you assign a "profile" that links all parameters, access settings to auser unless you create user Ids by copying a user ( though all may not be copied)
