schedule background jobs

Question: Can we schedule background jobs using CPIC user?

Answer:
I beleive the answer is NO!. Not because you it matters but there is , or at least use to be, a check in the scheduling code that would not allow it. A hard coded NO. You can always try it and see.

There is only one or two places that SAP checks to see what type of user is used and I beleive this is one of them.

Answer:
Are there any reasons to still use the C user for anything?

Answer:
RFC destinations (SM59) where actions need to be peformed and no logo is allowed,

Answer:
There are several recommendations indicating that it is not the preferred user type and new developments which have checks not enabled for it.

I seem to remember a syntax error and the logo of the dump screen.
