Maximum number of Org value entries allowed per org level

Question: Sorry to ask a stupid question - I've searched for this but can't see it.

Does anybody know what the maximum number of entries can be loaded into $WERKS at org level please?

I'm not sure if I put the question correctly - we've reached our limit in CUA when grouping over 300 profiles into a user master record - it won't go to the other clients - it's a HQ user that wants to see all the countries and wondered if we created a single role combining all the plants would there be a limit to how many plants could be input in PFCG?

Why would you even consider assigning 300 roles to a user?... Create single display all role with an asterisk in the plant or a range and be done with it.

There is a finite number of values you can enter into a single authorizaiton. The limit is based on the length of the field being specified and the field length of the VALUE field in table usr12 ( 3260 colmes to mind but may be 3600)

Oh, how we wished our project team had the forethought to consider ranges...

We are the down-stream bit and not listened to about such strange ideas as ranges etc - they're got plant codes all over the show.

BTW - we've found that 816 was the limit!
