Mass Role deletion

Question: Hello,

If I have 500 users and I just want to delete the roles, How can that be done. In SU10, I know there is an option/tab for roles, where we can enter roles and check the radio button "REMOVE", and it will remove those roles from User Master. But If the roles are not known or are different for different users, how can we just delete all the roles assigned to Users using SU10?

In your scenario you cannot use SU10, as it is working as designed. Youwill need to write a BDC session ( some like CATTs to do this oruse SHD0) so you can yse a list of Ids and the do a select all on the role tab and then delete.

Here's the quickest way I can think of - assuming that you are removing all roles for all user ids. Write a simple CATT to just delete a role (from PFCG). Once you delete the role it is removed from the user ids. Then do a mass transport of all your roles back in.
