Answer:
What are the server specification we're dealing with here? Espacially memory and CPU type.
Answer:
Thanks for your reply.
We are in 2GB Memory, single processor with 3.0 GHZ, and 9GB of swap space being allocated.
Hardware - Sun Ultra 20 workstation installed with OS - x86_64 GNU/Linux.
Answer:
Looks like your 2GB is the problem. 64Bit OS+SAP need atleast 4GB (preferably 8GB) of main memory and 20GB of swap-space. You Java engine needs 1GB per server process. Bear in mind, this is not the Sneak-Preview WebAS 7.00 (which is much smaller). You might consider playing around with the Java heap memory settings; however this is tough to do so.
Answer:
hello,
I tired to increase my swap space to 17GB, it still stop me at the same phase. I will try to find some space in my server to make it more than 20GB and try the installation again, at the same time, did anyone know what else I can check/change inorder to make me pass the Configure CAF phase.
Thanks in advance.
Answer:
I tired to increase my swap space to 17GB
I don't think this is going to solve your problem. If internal memory is the issue, you need to start squeezing your installation.
Answer:
