HR Security

Question: We have an HR Administrator who is in-charge of EE Group 01 and this is maintained in their authorization role P_ORGIN. The authorization works wonderful during hiring.

However, when he rehire an ex-employee who was previously in EE Group 01 and wanted to hire him in EE Group 02, (for authorization test) the system is letting him
although he gets a warning message PG100 - "No authorization for the
specified organizational assignment exists". The system is allowing him
to go through instead. Worst, after hiring, he can see the employee who is now an EE Group 02.

We appreciate your immediate response.

Answer:
Read the documentation that goes with OOSW

Answer:
Hello,

The documentation through OOSW does not say anything about security........

Answer:
how long ago was the ee terminated? Check your ADAYS value in the T77S0 table. Group ID - AUTSW, SEMID= ADAYS. The default is 15 days. Not sure if this only applies to administrator group in P_ORGXX or if it also applies to EE group and EE subgroup. I have never had it come up as an issue yet. If you go to SM30 and display the table or fire up tcode OOAC and put your cursor in the ADAYS field and click on documentation you can read about it. thanks. kirk.
