HR Course HR940

Question: Gurus and trainee Gurus

Has anyone attended the SAP HR course, HR940?

If so, is it purely covering security on Structural Auths, or is there general HR security covered as well?

We do not intend to implement Structural Auths here, so was wondering if its worthwhile me attending.....as I can use that budget for another 'exciting' Security course!

We are currently on Release 4.5b

Recently been on said course found it ok but not as good as I had hoped. I have background in authorizations for FI/CO etc and have been told that HR authorizations are a bit different.
Topics covered-
setting up general authorization checks
indirect role assignment
determining period of responsibility
auhtorization objects in payroll
authorization check for evaluations (reports)
structural authorization checks
context solution

So not just structural stuff. If you don't understand (SAP) HR terminology then you may struggle a bit on the course.

I wrote to SAP Education, and they stated that in the 3 day course, 3.5 hours (an afternoon) is spent on Struc auths.
