HR Authorisation - Structured Authorisation Issue

Question: Hi All,

We have a problem with our some of our structured authorisations in the HR module.

Some users where complaining that they didn't have the appropriate access to certain areas that they were supposed to.

On investigation, we found that we needed to add them to table T77UA.

This solved the problem.

However, we needed to remove a group of users from this table and found that they still had access .

This table is buffered, but in theory will be updated by any changes, so I cannot think of a logical explanation as to why this problem is occuring.

Has anyone come across a similar issue?

Thanks

Answer:
This table is automatically updated whenever u have
1. switch AUTHW-ORGPD set to 1
2. Structural profile defined in OOSP
3. This profile used in role built with P_ORGINCON. So effectively, whenever you modify this role in step 3, table T77UA gets updated automatically.

Check to see if this resolves your issue.

Cheers!!!!

Interesting. What version are you running?

From 4.7 at least (not sure if introduced earlier), when not assigning an structural authorization, you should have access to the whole organisation.

No it does not. You need to use the badi to achieve this.

Answer:
Thanks guys,

Checked AUTSW ORGPD, it is set to 1 as it needs to be.

Currently running on 46C, due to be upgraded soon.

I have checked note 382099 - a lead that came from your good selves, which seems to coincide with our problem, the solution being to add the prescribed correction, namely upgrade to the relevent HR support pack.

So I will take it from there with fingers crossed.
