How to upload iview on the sap Enterprise portal6.0?

Question: How to upload iview on the sap Enterprise portal6.0?

Answer:
Hello,
I suppose you need to upload the par file of the portal component that you have created using eclipse plugins or Ant builder.

Well you can follow this path
Java Development-> Component Manager.
On the Component Manager you would see see an Archive Uploader , that would upload the par file from your local system that you have created.

You can then check the par file using Component starter. Select your par file and then press the 'GO' Button.

You can then create and iview based on the portal archive that you had uploaded.

All this information relates to EP 6.0.

You wold get the 'Java Development' tab(Workset) on the top level navigation if you have business package for PDK 6.0 installed.
If you do not have pdk installed then you can use the folowwing URL:

for component manager http://:/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default

for component starter

http://:/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.GO

Hope ths works
