how to audit user's action?

Question: It is the situation that I want to check the log of user's every action during an early period, such as transaction code, and IP address and so on.
But I found that the data in ST03->statistical records is not all the data. It only can log several days. How can I check the former logs?

Well georgine... u said u want to log user's every action...
do u want it for just one users or all users or limited nos???

Then... first u said u want to log presently i mean u want to start presently... but then u are saying that u want to display former logs...

I cant get it correct.... do u want to start it now or wish to see the former logs???

However, u can check out the tcodes ST01, ST05 etc for activating and analyzing traces...

Pls clarify ur question...

Security Audit log will also monitor transaction starts + other things if you configure it to do so.
