Question: Hi Friends,

I need to delete the some MM authorization roles ( PFCG) , but after deleting system not allowing me to create request with deleted contents. then how can i trasported these deleted role to produciton system.

Since production system not changable for anything how to delete roles in the production system ( no request has created in development system when i delete the authorization role.

Please advise me.

Answer:
Well, in this case I would have done the upload download of the role from the productive environment to the development system.

When you have the role in the dev system you now can add them to a transport, maybe via the masstransport of roles in PFCG.

After you added the roles to the transport you should delete the role and automatically the role gets the delete status in the transport. So when you transport the role you delete the role!

Best of luck to you!

Regards Fredrik

Answer:
2 issues

1) if u want to delete a test role which you created in development, then there is no need to create a transport request?

2) however, if the role u want to delete is in PROD, u need to create a transport request to include the deleted role and import QAS before PRD for the landscape to take out this role?

therefore, transport of deleted roels are necessary only in production.

Answer:
1. The "delete" transport is ONLY if you want to TRANSPORT the delete to other systems. If it only exists in Dev and NOT the other systems then NO you do not need to create a transport.

2. This is generally the transport path, DEV->QAS->PRD. If you want to keep it in DEV and QAS but not PRD the go to PFCG and delete it.
