Composite roles in 4.6c

Question: I have a problem that when I have to make a change to a single role and save and generate the derived roles I then have to Rebuild the Composite roles.
Problem I had to remove a transaction from a low level role that caused me to have to rebuild 72 Composite roles manually this took me 7 hours.

Does anyone out there know of any better solution to this?

Thanks in Advance

Answer:
You can script this using a tool such as Quicktest.
The best solution is not to use composites for exactly this reason (and many, many others)

Answer:
If you use User Menu's do not even consider using Composites as it just casues a nightmare like above.

Answer:
Hi,

If you don't need to design manually the role menu within the composite role but only to refresh it, just use a CATT script: it does it in the background. So you don't loose any time.

Hello security gurus

Regarding your note it looks like the CATT script can be used to
refresh/regenerated menus in composite roles within PFCG.

We tried that several times and it seems like menu regeneration is NOT
CATT script friendly.

You have indicated otherwise so could please provide details of how you managed to achieve this.
