Commands for Backing Up and Archiving

Use

You can carry out full and incremental data backups and log backups with the Database Manager. For log backups, we recommend that you enable automatic log backup. The option of interactive log backups is also available to you, however.

Prerequisites

Note the operator authorizations required for the particular DBM commands.

The prerequisite for executing all other backup commands is to execute the command to backup the database instance first.
