What is SNOTE? How to import the OSS notes?

SNOTE (SAP Notes Assistant) is available in SAP 4.6c after a plug-in and is by default from SAP 4.7EE. Using SNOTE transaction code, you can directly install the Recommended Code changes in SAP system. It creates a transport request which can be imported later on in the Quality and Production systems.

The advantage of SNOTE is that you need not get the notes added in the individual systems and can have the change moved in to all the systems as per the guidelines.

There are two ways to import the OSS Note (SAP Notes).

1. Download the Correction to your system and import it.
2. Directly download from SNOTE transaction code (Only available from SAP 4.6c)
